Create For Sale Landing page for free with Google Forms
In this guide I will show you how to setup For Sale landing page for your domains using Google Forms.
Why For Sale Landing page?
For Sale Landing page is a good way to convert your direct traffic into leads.
Sometimes even low ball offers can end up selling for a desired price.
Create Contact Form
Setting up Contact Form with Google Forms is fairly easy. Sign up with your account in Google then go to Google Forms page: https://docs.google.com/forms/u/0/ After that you need to choose template that you want to use, Contact Information Form perfectly fits for our purpose.
Click on that form then you can customize easily in the way that you think ti will fit for your domain name. You can change the background, upload your own background image, change the colors and text. Here is example of the contact page for one of my domain names that I created with Google Forms.
After you finish your contact form you need to point your domain name to Google Forms, so when someone lands on your domain name to be able to make an offer. First you need to get the direct link to your form, after it’s ready click on Send button, then click on link icon and check the Shorten URL checkbox.
The URL should looks like this
Point your domain
When you get your direct link to the contact form from Google Forms, go to your registrar. The example below is for one of my domains at GoDaddy.
From domain list page, select your domain name and click DNS button
Then scroll below to the Forwarding Section and click on Add link
When you click on that link the whole Forwarding Section will open and you will see the options. Here is what you need to set. On Forward to select https:// from the drop down, then paste your Google Forms link without the https:// part, like this: goo.gl/forms/S7D5GcpzIJYnzp0M2 then select Forward with Masking and enter Title, for example: Domain Name for Sale
Then at the bottom of this section check “Update my nameservers and DNS settings to support this change” and click on Save button.
It needs some time for DNS changes to take effect, depends on your ISP. Once this is done open your domain name and you should see the your newly created contact form. Here is example of my domain name: MadisonParkApartments.com
